Schanbee Update:

I'm taking things one step at a time.

My license is reinstated (I'm a legal fuckin' driver!). My U-Turn ticket is paid in full.

I bought a new (well, used) car to get me around for the next year until I can afford an upgrade (i.e. Honda CRX): .


I'm getting it smogged tomorrow morning before work, going to DMV at lunch to get new plates and registered in my name, and then at when I get back to work I'm calling geico to set up my insurance plan which has already been quoted.

I am officially moving out of my studio in Mission Beach and into a 2 bedroom apartment in North Park/Hillcrest area (One block away from LW). I'm moving in with Matthew (friend of Jay's, he's in mid-to-late twenties, works a 9-5 job like me, gay, and loves to cook) SCORE! The apartment is soooo gorgeous. Its in a 3-apartment complex with a community jacquazzi, a brand new electric bbq grill, a garden with bamboo fencing, and a free to use washer and dryer. My rent including all utilities (DSL, Digital Cable, Phone, Electric/Gas/Water) is $600 bucks! So I will be saving $150 a month then what I am paying now at my studio. I also get the master bedroom... eh he he he. I can't wait to get out of the beach scene, I've been over it for a long time.

Other than that, school starts at the end of next month. Taking a full load again. Work is great, as usual. Me & Jay are doing fabulous. Look for yourself! hahahahaha:

I miss seeing my friends. I have been MIA these past few weeks, besides making an appearance at Noelle's going away party this past weekend. It was nice to see all those kids.

I went to the Le Tigre/Electrelane show sunday night. I was so amped to le teegs, you don't even know. But I left with a huge disappointment. Its like they played the exact same show from last year, no kidding. Nothing new. I was hoping they had some new songs or maybe play alot of their old stuff. I don't know. I saw them twice before this show and both of those times they blew my mind.. completely. This show was just blah. I mean don't get me wrong, they didnt play bad, they played great. I just wish they would have spiced things up. Eh, maybe next time. But Electrelane was fucking amazing. They sing in four different languages... haha. Everyone should defiently check them out.

So word on the street is a few modesto homies might drive down for Street Scene and Pride this weekend. You know who you are, and you better come! haha. Everyone should think about visiting me before school starts. I have one more month at the beach, and one more month of freedom... so come come come!
